Global music icon Burna Boy has revealed a new French name, “Jean Béna Dieudonné,” following his collaboration with French-Haitian singer Joé Dwèt Filé on the remix of the viral hit, “4 Kampé II.”

The Grammy-winning artist announced his new moniker on March 27th via his X account, linking to the remix that seamlessly blends their distinct musical styles. This collaboration underscores Burna Boy’s continued foray into the French music scene.

Joé Dwèt Filé’s original track, “4 Kampé,” has rapidly ascended to viral status, garnering over 80 million streams and 60 million video views. The song’s infectious fusion of kompa rhythms and modern sounds has resonated globally, sparking numerous dance challenges and widespread social media engagement, particularly on TikTok and Instagram.

This remix arrives amidst a busy 2024 for Burna Boy. Preceding his highly anticipated eighth album, “No Sign of Weakness,” he released the single “Update,” following the Grammy-nominated “Higher” and “Bundle by Bundle” in December 2023.
