Grammy-winning singer, songwriter Bruno Mars has become the first artist to reach 150 million monthly listeners on Spotify. This follows him releasing a chain of bangers, Die With A Smile with Lady Gaga and featuring on ROSÉ’s APT and most recently Fat, Juicy and Wet with Sexyy Red.
Bruno Mars has stayed at the top of Spotify’s listener charts, ever since his chart shattering joint body of work with Anderson.Paak on their 2021 Grammy-winning album An Evening With Silk Sonic.
Prior to Bruno Mars owning this spot, The Weeknd previously held the record for the most Spotify listeners and he was the first to reach 100 million and later increased it to 120 million.
