An image of mass graves for the burial of coronavirus victims in Brazil, has emerged.
The photo comes as 125,000 coronavirus deaths are forecasted across Brazil, with the University of Washington’s Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation calling on the South American nation to impose strict lockdown.
In one of the grieve-striking photos, rows of graves lying empty in Cemiterio – de Vila Formosa believed to be the biggest cemetery in Latin America – can be seen.
Brazil is currently the second worst-hit nation with about 377,000 confirmed cases with death toll around 24,000.
Other photos show patients in hospitals apparently in critical conditions and receiving treatment.
