Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, remains in charge of affairs of the United Kingdom despite being on admission after testing positive for coronavirus.
Britain’s Housing Secretary, Robert Jenrick, made this known on BBC breakfast show monitored by African Entertainment on Monday morning, April 6.
He says Mr. Johnson is “still very much in charge of the government.”
Prime Minister Johnson spent Sunday in London Hospital with reported “persistent symptoms” of coronavirus – including a temperature – for a series of routine tests.
His admission is accordingly a “precautionary step” taken on the advice of his doctor.
The 55-years-old Prime Minister tested positive for coronavirus 11 days ago.
