Billie Eilish and her brother Finneas have embarked on a new phase in their careers with a significant shift in management. The GRAMMY Award-winning siblings have enlisted Jason Owen of Sandbox Entertainment as their new manager, marking the end of their decade-long association with Danny Rukasin and Brandon Goodman of Best Friends Music Management.

The Hollywood Reporter broke the news, confirming that Owen, whose high-profile clients include country music stars Kacey Musgraves and Kelsea Ballerini, will now oversee both Eilish and Finneas. Owen, CEO of Sandbox Entertainment, boasts a successful track record, with his firm recently securing multiple Academy of Country Music Awards, including Entertainer of the Year and Female Artist of the Year.
Under the guidance of Rukasin and Goodman, Eilish achieved remarkable milestones, charting 44 songs on the Hot 100, including the No. 1 hit “Bad Guy.” She has earned 32 Grammy nominations and nine wins, including a historic sweep of all Big Four categories in 2020. Additionally, she and Finneas have won two Academy Awards for “No Time to Die” from the James Bond film of the same name and “What Was I Made For?” from Barbie. Finneas himself has received 21 Grammy nominations and secured 10 wins.
The transition to Owen’s management comes at a pivotal moment, as Eilish continues to evolve her career. Her third studio album, Hit Me Hard and Soft, debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 and produced the No. 2 Hot 100 hit “Birds of a Feather.” With an upcoming European tour on the horizon, the industry will be watching closely to see how this new chapter under Owen’s leadership unfolds.
Despite the managerial shift, sources indicate that the separation between Eilish, Finneas, and Best Friends Music Management was amicable. As Eilish and Finneas enter this next era, their collaboration with Owen is expected to bring fresh opportunities and continued success in the ever-evolving music industry.
