File photo: Bianca Naidoo and the late Riky Rick
Bianca Naidoo, the lover of late South African rapper, Riky Rick, has reportedly won the court case and is expected to be appointed as the executor of his estate.
According to local media reports in South Africa, Bianca is expected to be recognized as the executor of the estate of Riky.
EWN reported that Bianca is to be recognized by the Department of Home Affairs.
Bianca had been in a dispute with the Department over the estate of the late rapper.
A report by the Sunday World indicated that the Department had initially refused to recognize her as the late rapper’s legal wife, but there is now hope.
It would be recalled that Riky passed away in February 2022 and www.africanentertainment.com understands that he apparently did not leave a will.
Riky and Bianca were not legally married but reports say their families recognized them as married couple.
The Sunday World in its report sighted by www.africanentertainment.com cited Bianca as saying that at the time of Riky’s death, they had already established a financial interdependence together as she was working with him as both directors of Makhado Agency (Pty) Ltd.
She is quoted as saying in the court documents: “The deceased and I thus established a financial interdependence because I performed all the administrative tasks related to the deceased’s duties as entertainer/musician until his untimely death.”
Bianca was further quoted as saying: “The deceased and I enjoyed emotional and financial inter-dependence by also inter alia registering and running successful commercial businesses together, which include the Legends Barber as well as Cotton Fest. Both I and the deceased were directors of Makhado Agency (Pty) Ltd, which we operated together in all respects. The deceased and I also enjoyed the benefits as life partners as members of my medical aid scheme who regarded us as life partners.”
