Ghanaian singer Rebecca Acheampong, popularly known as Becca, has said that fabricated lies made by haters to discredit her family do not bother her.
Speaking in an interview on Restoration with Stacy Amoateng, the songstress says she is a good person filled with lots of positivity.
The unshaken musician took a swipe at bloggers saying that “bloggers don’t wake up with me so whatever they say is their business.”
“I can’t be bothered. I think if everybody knows me, I’m the sort of person who is very positive. Even in the hardest times I’m very positive. I’m a human being so I go through that emotional state where you think ‘can you just leave me alone because am a good person.”
Commenting on her marriage to Nigerian husband, Tobi Sanni Daniel, Becca revealed that some of the accusations levelled against her and her husband were fabricated.
In the interview monitored by African Entertainment, the singer said that her husband proposed to her a year before they got married.
She indicated that she was in the known of her husband’s situation as compared to what was published online.
“Unfortunately you will think you are a good person but not everybody wants the good for you and so yes there were a lot of things flying around which honestly I didn’t really care because there was nothing you were telling me about my husband that I didn’t know so I wasn’t really bothered,” she says.
According to her, “Some of them were fabricated, it was more than it is but honestly, I wasn’t bothered. I was enjoying my honey in Santorini so I couldn’t be bothered.”
“My husband proposed to me actually, a year before we got married. That, people don’t know. He proposed a year, it was actually at Movenpick you know; he proposed a year before we got married. So, when people were saying Becca just got to meet the husband, in my head, I’m thinking: they said I knew him three months before we got married. I said: ‘Well, no problem” she said.
