Arsenal Legend, Kenny Sansom Battling Head Injury After ‘Drunken Row’
Arsenal Legend, Kenny Sansom, is on admission after sustaining a serious head injury, his family have announced.
He is said to have sustained the injury in an alleged drunken row.
Kenny Sansom, a former England player aged 61, is believed to be on admission at the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital.
In a tweet through his official Twitter handle, his family asked the media to respect his and their privacy.
The tweet sighted by African Entertainment read: “Kenny is currently ill in hospital. He is being well cared for and does not have COVID-19. Kenny’s family and close friends kindly ask the media to respect his and their privacy, plus that of the healthcare workers treating Kenny.”

Kenny is believed to be an ‘alcohol addict.’ A former left-back, Kenny played nearly 400 times for Arsenal in the 1980s.
He also played about 86 times for England, spending time playing for Crystal Palace, Newcastle, QPR, Coventry, Everton, Brentford and Watford in a long and successful career.
Reports say he sustained the ‘life threatening’ injury during a drunken disagreement.
He is believed to have become homeless at a point in his life after reportedly spending all his money on drinks.
