Arsenal 3-3 Southampton: -Arteta’s Side Draw After Saints Run Riot With Goals

Premier League leader Arsenal drew 3-3 to Southampton in what was an incredible night for Mikel Arteta’s side at the Emirates Stadium.

Southampton took a shock lead inside the opening minute with goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale passing the ball straight to Carlos Alcaraz, who finished beautifully.

The Saints would double their advantage inside 15 minutes as former Arsenal forward Theo Walcott converted coolly having been played in by Alcaraz.

The Gunners were back in it soon after. Bukayo Saka crossed from the right for Gabriel Martinelli to fire home and half the arrears.

It would be Southampton who would get the next goal, pulling two goals clear again in the second half as a corner was flicked onto Duje Caleta-Car, who headed home past Ramsdale.  More to follow subsequently.
