Alicia Keys Dedicate New Song To Covid-19 First Responders
By Melvin Tarlue
American singer and author, Alicia Keys, has dedicated her single “Underdog” to all first responders and medical professionals risking their lives in the US to save coronavirus patients.
The dedication comes as the US recorded around 300,000 confirmed cases of coronavirus.
In a one minute nineteen seconds video while singing the song, Keys says “I will like to dedicate this song to all the first responders and medical professionals that are risking their lives to keep us safe. I am so grateful.”

The video shows health workers working to save lives as Keys is seen seated and singing for them with the help of a piano and a microphone.
Alicia Keys released the single “Underdog” back in January 2020.
The single was considered the perfect song to kick off the iHeart Living Room Concert for America on Sunday night (March 29), the at-home concert special hosted by Elton John that aired in place of the 2020 iHeartRadio Music Awards.
Ms. Keys has been tweeting about the song and indicating how “music heals.”
