Billionaire industrialist and BUA Group chairman, Abdul Samad Rabiu, has announced a series of significant financial incentives for the Super Eagles as Nigeria intensifies its push for success at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).

The development has injected renewed confidence and motivation into the national team’s campaign, with Rabiu’s backing seen as a strong statement of belief in the players and technical crew.

According to the incentive package, the Super Eagles stand to earn a total of $1 million if they go on to win the AFCON 2025 title. In addition to the overall prize, Rabiu has promised $100,000 for every goal scored in the final of the tournament.

Further incentives have been outlined ahead of Nigeria’s semi-final clash against Morocco. A victory over the North African giants will attract an additional $500,000 bonus, while each goal scored against Morocco in the encounter will earn the team $50,000.

The gesture has been widely interpreted as a show of strong private-sector support for Nigerian football, reinforcing confidence in the Super Eagles’ ability to compete at the highest level on the continent.

With history, national pride, and substantial financial rewards now on the line, attention shifts back to the players as they prepare for one of the most crucial stages of the tournament.

The Super Eagles will be hoping that this backing, combined with their on-field performance, can propel them toward AFCON glory and further unite Nigerians behind the team.
