Nigerian rapper Blaqbonez has confidently stated that it is impossible for anyone to accuse him of paternity fraud.
Paternity fraud, as defined by Google, occurs when a man is falsely identified as the biological father of a child, often through official documentation or legal claims, despite the mother knowing he is not.
In a candid conversation on the WithChude podcast hosted by Chude Jideonwo, the “Like Ice Spice” hit maker shared how he ensures he never finds himself in such a situation. The rapper revealed that he uses both protection and the withdrawal method as a double-layered precaution.
“I pull out even when I have protection,” he emphasized, adding that this eliminates any possibility of someone accusing him of paternity fraud. “Nobody can even remotely think, ‘Let me accuse Blaqbonez.’”
The rapper, born Emeka Akumefule, also touched on his views on relationships during the interview. He admitted he doesn’t see himself as someone who can commit to monogamy.
Blaqbonez rose to prominence in 2021 with the release of his debut album, Sex Over Love. Since then, he has maintained his position in the Nigerian rap scene with a string of hit projects.
Despite his success, Blaqbonez openly discusses the challenges of fame. He shared how the constant public scrutiny makes it difficult for him to lead a normal life. “It feels like a crazy punishment,” he said. “Other people who have way more money have a much easier life than me. I have to be hiding.”
In 2022, Blaqbonez showcased his versatility by directing the music video for his single Back in Uni, which features British-Ghanaian producer JAE5. This move highlighted his creative growth beyond just music.
The rapper continues to carve his unique path in the industry, balancing his candid personality with his artistic endeavors.
