Nigerian comedian Klintoncod has stirred online drama after openly questioning Cubana Chief Priest’s explanation for missing Davido’s Miami wedding.
Chief Priest had earlier claimed that his absence was due to a US visa application being denied. But Klintoncod says the story doesn’t add up, insisting that only Chief Priest truly knows why he hasn’t set foot on American soil.
He pointed out that even Israel DMW, Davido’s aide — who, in his words, “can’t express himself well in English” — got his visa approved, as well as Chief Priest’s wife and kids. Yet, the billionaire nightclub owner himself was allegedly the only one denied entry.
Responding to an X user who reminded him that Chief Priest had previously addressed his US travel issues, Klintoncod dismissed it as “dead talk.”
In his words: “You see that Chief Priest story of being denied a US visa, I also doubt that story sha, Israel wey no sabi speak English like that enter Miami, na Billionaire Chief Priest dem come deny visa but wife and kids get, baba know why him no wan touch US soil sha.”
The exchange has since gone viral, with fans divided — some defending Chief Priest’s version of events, while others agree with Klintoncod that there may be more to the story.
