Reality TV star and Big Brother Naija winner, Phyna, has taken to social media to call out billionaire Aliko Dangote and the Dangote Group over an alleged truck accident that injured her sister.
According to Phyna, the company’s truck was involved in the incident, and instead of reaching out to her family, she claims they instructed the Nigerian Police to remove the license plate from the truck. She further alleged that one of the Dangote Group’s managers was scheduled to visit the police station handling the case — a move she questioned, wondering why no one had first checked on her sister’s condition.
Expressing her outrage in a strongly worded statement, Phyna warned that the truck and its driver must remain in police custody until justice is served. She vowed to pursue the matter, accusing the company of neglect and calling on her faith for strength.
In her post, she wrote: “DEAR @ALIKO_DANGOTEGCON @DANGOTEGROUP FROM ALL THAT HAS HAPPEN YOU DECIDED TO RATHER TELL THE NIGERIAN POLICE TO REMOVE THE PLATE NUMBER ON THE TRUCK THAT CRUSH MY SISTER. AND ALSO ONE OF YOUR MANAGERS IS GOING TO THE STATION TOMORROW. WHAT HAPPENED TO SEEING MY SISTER FIRST? IF THAT TRUCK AND YOUR DRIVER SHOULD LEAVE THAT STATION!!! I WILL BE RIGHT BACK I’M ATTENDING TO MY SISTER FIRST NA MONEY YOU GET YOU NO BE GOD. BUT MY GOD IS BIGGER. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH UNA DON TOO CHO PEOLE BUT YOU SEE THIS??? AHHHH”
As of the time of this report, the Dangote Group has not issued an official statement regarding the allegations.
