Rema Impresses at Rolling Stone’s Future of Music Concert

Fresh from being the first Nigerian artist to grace the cover of Rolling Stone’s Future of Music magazine, Rema went ahead and delivered an electrifying performance at their Future of Music concert in Austin.

He captivated the audience with a medley of his chart-topping hits, including ‘Dumebi,’ ‘Woman,’ and the global sensation ‘Calm Down.’

2025 has already proven to be a monumental year for the Nigerian star. His single, ‘Baby (Is It A Crime),’ currently holds the title of the most streamed Nigerian song on Spotify for the year. This momentum will continue as Rema embarks on his ‘HEIS’ tour, a highly anticipated series of performances across North America and Europe.

The tour features a string of impressive venues, beginning with a headline show at New York’s iconic Madison Square Garden (19,000 capacity) on May 3rd. He’ll then cross into Canada for performances at Place Bell (10,000 capacity) on May 10th and the Scotia Bank Arena the following day. European stops include Milan’s Carroponte Hall (7,000 capacity) on June 14th and Amsterdam’s AFAS Hall (6,000 capacity) on July 20th.

Notably, the “Calm Down” hit maker will make history with two headline shows in Japan: the Okinawa Arena (10,000 capacity) on July 20th and the Mushashino Hall (10,000 capacity) seven days later. This expansion into Japan further solidifies his global reach, building upon his previous performances in Asia, including a notable appearance at the Ambani wedding in India and a sold-out show in Malaysia in 2024, both of which highlighted his status as a global music phenomenon. He will also be returning to the O2 arena after a sold out show in 2024.”
