Wizkid Set to embark on ‘Morayo’ tour. Announces Dates

Grammy-winning Afrobeats icon Wizkid has announced the North American leg of his highly anticipated “Morayo” tour, adding to his already packed 2025 schedule.

Announced via his Instagram, the North American dates include six key venues across the United States and Canada.1 Fans can expect performances at iconic locations such as Madison Square Garden in New York, State Farm Arena in Atlanta, and Scotiabank Arena in Canada.

This announcement follows a period of significant activity for Wizkid. He recently made his directorial debut with the music video for his single “Kese (Dance),” the second release from his sixth album, “Morayo.” The album’s first single, “Piece of My Heart” featuring Brent Faiyaz, has already garnered critical acclaim, winning Best Contemporary Duo or Group at the 2025 NAACP Awards.2

“Morayo,” released in November 2024, features a star-studded lineup of collaborators, including Afrobeats sensation Asake, French artist Tiakola, French-Gabonese singer Anais Cardot, and American R&B stars Jasmine Sullivan and Brent Faiyaz.3

Before heading to North America, Wizkid will embark on the European leg of the “Morayo” tour, with confirmed shows in France, the Netherlands, and Germany. He’s set to headline the 12,000-capacity Velodrome Arena in Berlin on May 21, followed by the Ahoy RTM Stage in Rotterdam on May 23, and the 20,000-capacity Accor Arena in Paris on May 25.

Wizkid’s return to touring is highly anticipated, given his track record of sold-out performances. He notably sold out London’s O2 Arena for three consecutive nights and headlined the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, solidifying his status as one of the 21st century’s most influential Nigerian artists. The “Morayo” tour promises to showcase his latest album and his extensive catalog of hit records.
