Obasi took to her Facebook page to share her thoughts, pointing out that many women’s actions and decisions are influenced by their desire for men. “They mostly fight because of a man. They don’t want to work because of a man. They render themselves incapable because of a man,” she wrote.

Obasi also cited “the popularity of the “Hallelujah Challenge” as evidence that many women are seeking husbands. “Hallelujah Challenge” is about husband or man. Prayer house is because of man. Kayamata and the rest is because of man,” she stated.

The radio personality concluded that the notion that women don’t need men is not supported by reality. “There are very few women who are not dependent on a man. So, this argument of ‘we don’t need man’ no hold water,” she wrote.

Obasi’s comments have sparked a lively debate on social media, with some users agreeing with her assessment and others arguing that women are capable of independence.
