Former President Goodluck Jonathan believes Nigerians need to change their mindset and reject bad behavior from politicians. He thinks that if citizens stop celebrating and accepting wrongdoing, politicians will be forced to behave normally.
Jonathan suggested that creating a “hall of shame” for past leaders who contributed to the country’s problems could be a step in the right direction. He emphasized that people must reject politicians who behave wrongly, and that this collective rejection will lead to positive change.
Jonathan’s comments were made at the public presentation of “Readings on Election Security Management” and “Selected Readings in Internal Security Management” authored by Solomon Arase, the former Inspector-General of Police.
