Nigerian music star Davido will be on the remix of Bibi Marung, a popular song by South African artists Mr. Pilato, Ego Slimflow, and Tebogo G Mashego.

This news comes after a video of Davido dancing to the remix appeared online, exciting fans.
The original song, released in November 2024, features South African artist Focalistic. Davido and Focalistic have worked together before on hit songs like Ke Star remix and Champion Sound. This remix will be Davido’s first collaboration of 2025 and will come before his new album, 5ive.
Davido is no stranger to working with South African artists. He has in the past collaborated with Mafikizolo (Tchelete), DJ Buckz and Uhuru (The Sound), and Nasty C (Juice Back). Bibi Marung has already become very popular, gaining over 17 million streams on Spotify. Davido’s verse is expected to make the song even bigger.
2025 is set to be a big year for Davido. He is gearing up to release his fifth album, 5ive, on March 15. The album includes songs like Awuke (featuring YG Marley) and Funds (featuring OdumoduBlvck and Chike). Omah Lay has also confirmed that he will be on the album, which Davido says is his best work yet.
