Nollywood actress Uche Elendu has come out in support of Annie Idibia, the wife of renowned singer 2Baba, as they face marital troubles. Following 2Baba’s recent divorce announcement, Uche took to Instagram to share her disappointment and speak out against the singer’s actions.
Uche criticized 2Baba for his lack of love, loyalty, and respect in his public comments, saying that his insensitive response let down both his wife and the public’s trust. She emphasized that personal issues should be kept private, especially during times when empathy and understanding are needed the most.
In her post, Uche explained how hard this situation has been for Annie, who supported her husband during tough times but was ultimately betrayed. Uche noted that Annie gave up a lot for the man she loved, but in the end, that love let her down.
Uche’s words conveyed her disappointment and empathy for Annie, stating, “No love, no accountability, no loyalty, no culture, no bond, no memory, no decorum, no respect, and no empathy… Annie left her life for the man she loved, but life has failed her.“
