Nigerian music sensation Ruger has taken to his Instagram stories and shared some exciting news; the title of his next album and release details.
Titled Blown Boy, the LP is set to drop in March 2025.
The 13 track body of work will be Ruger’s second studio album, following his 2024 collaborative project RnB with BNXN. The album is building on the momentum of his recently released singles, including Luv Again, Make Way, and the Tiwa Savage-assisted Toma Toma.

Blown Boy is a significant career milestone for Ruger, as it will be his second major release since parting ways with Jonzing World in 2023 to establish his own label, Blown Boy Imprint, which shares its name with the album title.
The “Red Flags” hit maker’s talents are complimented by his showmanship with his live performances often attracting lots of female fans who join him on stage to put on a show.
Looking ahead, Ruger is set to have a busy 2025 with the arrival of his new album which he will follow up with a tour of North America. Among the other afrobeats albums dropping in March is Davido’s 5th studio album 5ive.
