According to 50 Cent, Drake’s team is currently involved in a lawsuit with Apple, and they didn’t want the Super Bowl to play the song, which would have added to their financial costs.
50 Cent expressed his surprise at the situation, stating that he’s never seen a rap album end up in a lawsuit before.
