Ghana’s Dancehall King, Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr, popularly known as Shatta Wale has declared his unflinching support for Ghanaian President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
According to the musician, the President has done marvellously well since he took office.
He commended the president’s hard work which started with the Free SHS.
During his fifth Coronavirus update to the nation, President Akufo-Addo announced that government will absorb all water tariffs for the next three months.
According to the president, this move will help reduce the pressure of Ghanaians at this time.
“A period like this that he can come out and be supporting us like this- I don’t see any African President doing this apart from him. So, I believe we need to clap for him every morning when we wake up. The way people go to church and clap, they need to be clapping for the President like that because he has done so marvellously well”.
Speaking in an interview on 4syte TV, Shatta Wale advised all political parties contesting the election to give Nana Addo four more years.
“I believe we should call all other political parties and they must come into an agreement to give him (Akufo-Addo) another four years,” he said.
Ghana has recorded 313 confirmed cases with six deaths.
