Shatta Wale Holds ‘Faith Concert’

Ghanaian Dancehall King, Charles Nii-Armah Mensah, popularly known as Shatta Wale has hosted a live concert in the national capital, Accra.
The concert was dubbed the ‘Faith Concert.’
It lasted for about an hour beginning at from 8pm to 9pm on April 4, receiving massive from other top Ghanaian artists including Samini.

The concert was organised at his East Legon residence streamed live on Facebook and YouTube for the viewership of fans and music lovers across the world on social media.
The Shatta Movement boss, thrilled fans to an entertaining performance with back to back hits.
The concert was hosted to entertain people who could not access live entertainment programmes as the country experience a two weeks partial lockdown due to the outbreak of coronavirus.

The 14-day lockdown forms as part of a measure to control the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic which seems to be crippling many industries not exempting the Ghanaian entertainment industry.
Ghana has recorded some 214 confirmed cases of coronavirus with five deaths.
Meanwhile in an effort to give hope and support, some entertainers have developed the habit of holding live shows on social media.
