Winger, Christian Atsu Exits Black Stars

Newcaster winger, Christian Atsu, is report to have hinted his decision to exit his country’s national men’s soccer team, the Ghana Black Stars.
Reports making round in the national capital Accra says the player has cited neglect
neglect over an injury.

A popular soccer portal in Ghana, Ghanasoccernet first reported of the player’s decision.
The injury, African Entertainment is informed, has cost Atsu his starting place at Newcaster, an English club.
He is reported to have informed new Black Stars coach,
Charles Akonnor about his intended exit decision.
The winger has served the Black Stars for about seven years.
His 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt ended prematurely after he picked up a hamstring injury during Ghana’s 0-0 draw with Cameroon on July 1, 2019.
