Veteran Movie Maker Gbenga Adewusi Under Fire For Promoting Documentary of Late Actress, Moji Olaiya

Days ago, a poster of what appeared to be a Nollywood production with the title “Moji Olaiya, Canada to Grave” flooded the internet. Owing to the fact that the actress was only recently laid to rest, many of her fans found the poster very distasteful and moods heightened when it was discovered that the poster was actually a documentary of the burial rites of the thespian which was produced and set to be marketed by Yoruba movie production company, Bayowa Films. Following this discovery, the CEO of the company, Veteran movie maker, Gbenga Adewusi has come under severe social media fire. What’s interesting is that Gbenga has come out to say that the documentary is not for sale but for their site’s website. He also appears very unapologetic as he continues to post clips from the video with one video even showing him struggling to be captured as the actress was being laid to rest. See video:

The question is, how humane is it that while fellow colleagues mourned the painful exit of an amazing actress, on and off screen, some decided to make publicity and probably financial benefits off it?
