Popular Ghanaian actress, Emelia Brobbey started by saying this, “I want to appeal for forgiveness if I have offended anybody knowingly or unknowingly. In our profession, we come into contact with several people who will expect you to act in a particular way, but when you don’t do that you tend to offend them, and so let me use this platform to ask for forgiveness from all of them. Some people will like you, others will not. Inasmuch as you try to please people, you will get one or two who will dislike you, but I leave everything to God. The roles you see me perform in movies do no actually reflect who I am in real life. I only act based on the script that has been given to me by my directors and producers.”

She appealed to all Ghanaians to forgive her if she has offended them in anyway as her acting career is far different from her real life. She told us that she comes into contact with all kinds of persons who in turn expect her to live in a particular way. But failure to meet their expectations normally offends those people she meets, thus, they take back negative notions with them, but that isn’t it.

She hammered that roles assigned her by movie directors and producers in films do not reflect her real-life character. She is premiering her new movie titled: ‘Adamfo Bone’, (meaning ‘Bad Friend’), at the Accra and Westhills Mall cinemas in Accra, on AU Day – 25th of May, 2017.
