Trevor Noah, host of Comedy Central’s smash hit The Daily Show, is coming to the Maui Arts & Cultural Center’s Castle Theater for a very special one-night-only evening of comedy. In this heated political year, Noah will have plenty of hot topics to cover in what is sure to be one of Hawaii’s most talked about comedy shows of 2017.

Trevor Noah has hosted numerous television shows in his native South Africa, including the South African Comedy Festival and two seasons of his own late night talk show. He had his U.S. television debut on The Tonight Show and appeared on Late Show with David Letterman, as well as The Jimmy Kimmel Show.  In December, 2014, Noah became a recurring contributor on The Daily Show and subsequently succeeded Jon Stewart as host in September of 2015.

His 2015 Comedy Central stand-up special, Trevor Noah: Lost in Translation, brought Noah’s unique world view and global analysis of American culture to the forefront.

Noah was nominated for “Personality of the Year” at the 2014 and 2015 MTV Africa Music Awards and won the award in 2015.

He continues to tour all over the world and has performed in front of sold out crowds in London and Australia, as well as many U.S. cities.
