After acknowledging their error of listing two of South African rapper, Nasty C’s videos in the nomination list for this year’s award, organisers of the South African Music Awards have removed the videos because they do not meet the criteria for the Best Music Video category.

Nasty C was initially the artist with the highest nomination for the 2017 SAMAs but with the two disqualifications, Kwesta now has the highest number of nominations.

The SAMA organisers announced Tuesday evening that ‘Good Girls’ and ‘Don’t Do It’ were pointed out by fans as being non-compliant with the SAMA rule that all videos in Best Video category must have been aired on national television before January 31.
